# Painted Voyages > Your own photograph of a place, painted as a travel poster in one of 12 named schools and printed up to 40 × 60″. ## What it is A travel-poster render studio. Customers upload a photograph they took of a place (a street, a harbour, a coast, a skyline) and the engine paints that exact place in one of 12 schools of the golden age of travel posters, on 4 lines: The Railway, The Liner, The Parks, The Riviera. Sold as fine-art prints, canvas and apparel. The engine paints no lettering; the place name, one line and a year are set afterwards by the type desk. Refused, always: real company, airline, railway, shipping line or hotel names and marks; flags and symbols of hate; face portraits (people become small figures in the view); photographs with no place in them. Painted Voyages by Painted.App. Run by PaintedApp, LLC, Portland, Oregon. Support: support@painted.app. ## How it works - One photograph of a place you stood in front of. Phone photos are fine. The place is kept exactly: the same buildings, coastline and skyline. - One school: the same recipe that painted the exemplars on the wall is run on your photograph. The prompt is built on the server, so what you get is the school you chose. - Twenty to sixty seconds: the poster lands at 1024 × 1536 and the postcard at 1536 × 1024. Keep it as a file, or buy it as a print up to 40 × 60″. What you see on screen is what goes to the printer, rebuilt at print resolution the moment you pay. - Your words, if you want them: the type desk sets the place name, one line and a year in a face chosen for the school. Company and carrier names are refused. - Passes: every visitor gets 4 free passes. One pass is one render of one photograph, returned as an upright poster and a wide postcard. After those, 10 more passes cost $10. - Looking is free and every render is yours to refuse: only the one you chose is printed. - Your photograph goes to the engine twice, once for the poster and once for the postcard, and is not kept. The render is stored so it can be printed: keep one and it lands on your wall, and write to support@painted.app and we delete it. - A paid print order waits an hour before it goes to the printer; inside that hour it can be cancelled and refunded in full. Files are delivered on payment. ## Pricing USD, the prices the checkout charges. Postage is added at checkout: a flat rate by size and region, set from the printer's own quotes. ### Wall - Fine art print: 12 × 18″ $65 · 16 × 24″ $85 · 20 × 30″ $130 · 24 × 36″ $190 · 27 × 41″ $220 · 30 × 45″ $270 · 40 × 60″ $440 - Museum print: 12 × 18″ $100 · 16 × 24″ $130 · 20 × 30″ $190 · 24 × 36″ $250 · 40 × 60″ $600 - Stretched canvas: 12 × 18″ $130 · 16 × 24″ $170 · 20 × 30″ $220 · 24 × 36″ $310 - Float-framed canvas: 12 × 18″ $210 · 16 × 24″ $280 · 20 × 30″ $370 · 24 × 36″ $450 ### Worn and goods - T-shirt: $75 - Crewneck: $120 - Hoodie: $130 - All-over tee: $130 - All-over sweatshirt: $200 - All-over hoodie: $230 - Bomber jacket: $270 - Women's tank: $110 - Men's tank: $120 - Socks: $45 - Phone case: $55 - Mug: $45 - Throw pillow: 18 × 18″ $100 · 22 × 22″ $110 - Fleece blanket: 50 × 60″ $150 · 60 × 80″ $210 - Jigsaw puzzle: 252 pieces $85 · 520 pieces $130 - Tote bag: $100 ### The file (personal renders only) - The file: This one $20 · Both shapes $30 Ships to 121 countries. ## Key pages - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/: home, with the departures board, the render engine and the 12 schools - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/about: who runs it and what it refuses - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/faq: questions, the short answers ### Schools - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/coast_line_1931: Coast Line 1931, Your coast, as the 1931 railway sold it - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/speed_line_1932: Speed Line 1932, Your view, at the speed of the express - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/big_sky_1929: Big Sky 1929, Your horizon, under a railway poster sky - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/ocean_deco_1935: Ocean Deco 1935, Your arrival, seen from the rail of the liner - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/grand_saloon_1934: Grand Saloon 1934, Your view, in gold leaf and black lacquer - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/jet_age_1958: Jet Age 1958, Your view, the summer the jets arrived - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/park_service_1939: Park Service 1939, Your view, pulled in six silkscreen inks - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/alpine_litho_1925: Alpine Lithograph 1925, Your view, in the clear air of a Swiss poster - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/woodblock_1935: Woodblock 1935, Your street, cut in cherry wood and printed by hand - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/riviera_gouache_1930: Riviera Gouache 1930, Your terrace, in the Riviera noon - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/italian_modern_1936: Italian Modern 1936, Your square, built from bold rationalist planes - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/styles/mediterranean_1955: Mediterranean 1955, Your harbour, in the summer of 1955 ## Policies - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/privacy: privacy policy - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/terms: terms of service - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/cookies: cookie policy - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/refunds: refunds and returns - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/legal: every policy and a dated changelog - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/about: who runs it - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/sitemap: every page - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/llms-full.txt: everything here plus every answer the site gives - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/privacy-choices: your privacy choices - https://paintedvoyages.vercel.app/robots.txt: crawler policy: the catalogue and school pages are open to every engine; /api/, /account, /order/ and /print/ are personal and stay out - Contact: support@painted.app (PaintedApp, LLC)
